Your Pre-Move Survey

The survey allows us to accurately assess the volume of belongings requiring moving, meaning we can provide an accurate quote. It also provides an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have regarding your move and for us to address your concerns.

We can arrange for one of our European Move Consultants to visit your home prior to your move to carry out a full survey of your property and discuss your personal specific moving requirements. Alternatively if you would prefer, or if you only have a small amount to be moved we can send you a self survey form to complete and return to assess your own volume to be moved. This information is then passed on to your dedicated move manager.

If your requirements change from the initial service specification please let us know as soon as possible.

Your Move Plan

Practice makes perfect, but so does planning. Every extra detail is planned to ensure your move runs smoothly - and most importantly, remains stress free for you. Once your dedicated move manager has received your specifications from our move consultant they will start to create your tailored move plan. This planning ensures all the resources including all the staff and packing materials required are all in place. Your move manager will handle any concerns you have about lifting or moving carpets, dealing with chandeliers, crating that special picture, disposing of surplus effects and any number of others you may have.

Part loads:
We operate regular shared load services to extensive destinations throughout Europe. Customers can select a specific delivery window with an actual date of delivery confirmed prior to the vehicles departure. Please ask us for more information on part loads within Europe.

Your Packing Services

Packing can be time consuming and stressful, so why not let us do this for you while you sit back, relax and look forward to your new home? After all, our packers are the experts. We can handle all your packing for you, or if you prefer we offer part packing or fragile packing services tailored to your own specific requirements.

All Bournes packing crews undergo training by a British Removals Association qualified instructor and will use a range of specially designed packing materials to ensure that all your cherished belongings are ready to be safely and securely transported to your new home.

Your Moving Day

This is where all our planning comes into effect, and makes the day run smoothly for you.

Our crews will arrive at your home at a time pre-arranged between you and your move manager. Our crews are highly experienced, and understand the pressures of moving day, so will carry out your move in a friendly, caring and professional manner and help in any way they can. When we arrive we will prepare your home for the move by protecting carpets and surfaces before loading your belongings onto our vehicles ready to be transported to their new home.

At Your Destination

Your move manager will provide you with comprehensive information on the country to which you are moving including customs guides and practical information giving you the peace of mind that you know everything you need to know and the peace of mind that everything is being taken care of.

As you concentrate on settling in and enjoying your new home crews will unload all your belongings and place them in the correct rooms at your request. If you have selected unpacking services we will then unpack and place your items exactly where you require as per your move plan.
